Nehemiah Manufacturing Co. employs a predominantly “second chance” workforce and offers good-paying jobs with benefits. CDF’s New Markets Tax Credits enabled Nehemiah to finance acquisition, construction, and development of a new 185,000-sf facility on a former brownfield site that had been vacant for 13 years. The $13.4 million project created 52 and retained 76 quality jobs.
