Financed with CDF’s New Markets Tax Credits, this project encompassed two contiguous blocks adjacent to the University of Cincinnati’s main campus. Once a patchwork of poorly renovated buildings, fast-food restaurants and vacant structures, U-Square boasts attractive storefronts and quality apartments. It is a primary destination/gathering space for students as well as for local and out-of-town visitors.
